US dept of health and Human Services. www.phe.gov/s3/BioriskManagement/biocontainment/Pages/BSL-Requirements.aspx"Biosafety Level Requirements Laboratory biosafety describes the application of specific practices, safety equipment and specially designed laboratories to create a safe environment, both within and outside the laboratory, for work conducted with infectious agents and toxins. In addition, there is monitoring for occupationally acquired infections and staff training, as appropriate. “Biosafety Levels” (BSLs) are designations applied to projects or activities conducted in laboratories in ascending order of containment based on the degree of the health-related risk associated with the work being conducted. In the United States, the designations BSL-1, BSL-2, BSL-3, and BSL-4 describe the minimum safe work practices, specially designed buildings, and safety equipment required to conduct work on infectious microorganisms and other biological hazards. BSL-4 is the highest biosafety level. The appropriate BSL for a project is determined jointly by the principal investigator, the institutional biosafety professionals and biosafety committees. The BSL assigned to a project is based on a biological risk assessment that takes into account: The nature of the infectious agent, toxin, or other biological hazard, including: Its ability to cause disease and the way(s) in which it causes disease (transmissibility and pathogenicity); How much of it is required to cause disease (infectious dose); How many different organisms are susceptible to infection (host range); and Its prevalence in the community (epidemiology); The specific laboratory activity or activities being performed; and The availability of preventive medical countermeasures (i.e., vaccines) or effective treatment (i.e., post-exposure vaccination and/or use of antimicrobials, antivirals and chemotherapeutic agents). The BSL assigned to a project determines the controls required to conduct the work safely: Engineering controls, including facility construction and design elements in the laboratory space; Safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and biosafety cabinets; Administrative controls, including specific access, training, and occupational medicine policies; and Laboratory practices and procedures workers use when working in the laboratory. Every biological laboratory, regardless of biosafety level, follows standard microbiological practices. Each biosafety level builds on the controls of the next lower level. Each biosafety level has its own specific containment controls. The assignment of a biosafety level to a particular work process is made through a protocol driven risk assessment. For more information on other aspects of the biosafety levels, please see the rest of the biosafety section for a general overview."

It might seem far too fortunate to believe that a virus just like the ones the Wuhan Institute was studying just happened to have its epicenter just a few miles from the institute. What are the odds that a bat disease could travel the the 750 m's right to their doorstep. And then here they are publishing not only the virus but the supposed cure, back in Feb2020. But the paper was sent to REsearchGate on Jan2020. So how long had they been running their tests?

Zhihong HU temp advisor to WHO. This is the woman I want to speak to. What I can not also understand is that the Chinese Govt is not closing down the wetmarkets. As if it were really the source of the CoVid19. I cant imagine any other country that wold actually have to make a law to close the wet markets down. Are the people of China really so ignorant that they would continue to buy food there of their own will? Or is the food supply so poor in China that bats are actually better than the normal food they have available? I have always thought Chinese delicious, so why the bats? Why the civets? Or the pangolins? Is the Chinese Communist Party willing to admit that their education system is so deficient that the people dont understand the spread of infectious diseases? I actually dont think so. And I dont think the people of China believe it actually came from the wet market in Wuhan. I think they know where it came from. Another thing, the best Chinese food place I know is owned by Koreans. The coconut shrimp and the sesame chicken is incredible. And very good steak as well. They have a Mexican host and a Mexican Waitress. And for the most part, it is just a bunch of white rednecks who eat there. I doubt they know good the food is in relation to places I have eaten in CA and NYC. And they make a wonderful pecan pie, believe it or not. I havent been there in months because of this stupid virus. Thanks a lot China. Attachments:

euraxess.ec.europa.eu/worldwide/china/interview-professor-zhihong-hu-cas-institute-virology1. Professor Hu, please tell us about your research. My research is about systematic Virology. We try to understand how many virus species there are in the universe, and what their functions are. We study the relationship of viruses and their hosts, and generate knowledge and techniques that can be used for the benefit of mankind and our ecosystem. One particular virus that I focus on, is baculovirus, which can be used to control agricultural and forest pests, and can also be used to produce vaccines. 2. How would you describe the gender balance in your field? Let me take our institute as an example. We have programmes for graduate students. Among 255 graduate students, 53% are female. Among our staff members, 47% are female. However, at higher level, males are dominant. Among 35 PIs (principle investigators), 7 (20%) are female. Which means that female has an equal chance to participate in graduate studies and be hired as a researcher, but somehow only a few of them end up at the top level. 3. You have also held a prestigious EU Marie Curie fellowship. How did this influence your research career? Looking back, I would like to say that the Marie Curie fellowship played an essential role in my career. It was in my early research days and initiated my connection to the international research field. I was very lucky to get this fellowship to work at Dr. Just Vlak's laboratory in Wageningen Agricultural University, and I ended up as a PhD student of Dr. Vlak. Since then, the collaboration between my lab and Dr. Vlak's lab has lasted for more than 20 years. We set up a joint-laboratory in Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, which allows scientists from both sides to apply for joint-grants, to exchange students and staff members, and also to publish joint-papers. When I was in Dr. Vlak's lab, I met many scientists from all over the world, and those scientists are still my collaborators. 4. What are the biggest questions or challenges researchers currently face in your field, virology? First, we still know very few viruses. So far, there are 1.6 million described species in the world, but among them, only about 3000 are viruses. This is because most viruses we know are from human, or from plants and animals which are important to human beings. However, these kinds of viruses represent only a tiny part of the whole viral space. So we need to discover how many viruses there are in the universe, and what kind of function they play in the ecosystem. Second, emerging infectious viral diseases. Nowadays people are familiar with SARS-CoV, Ebola and Zika virus. Those are emerging or re-emerging viruses which cause epidemic around the world. We need to understand how these viruses emerged, and how to control them. Anti-viral drugs and vaccines need to be developed. Professor Zhihong Hu talked about her research with European partners at last May in Wuhan at the opening of the EU-China Research and Innovation Tour. She introduced also collaboration with France within the framework of the P4 biosafety lab in Wuhan, first in Asia, built in close cooperation with Jean Mérieux BSL-4 Laboratory in Lyon, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Wuhan government. 5. What does your average day look like? Tell us about your roles and responsibilities. Monday to Friday are my working days. I go to the office at 8:30, and work until 12:30. Then from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, in a typical working day, I take a few hours to discuss with my students and my colleagues about the experimental results, guide the students for what to do next. It is the most exciting moments as often I see progress of the students and novel results. Depending on the level of the students, some need guidance on the direction of the research, some need encouragement, some need help to understand the significance of their results. The discussion also inspire me of what to do next. For the rest of the time, I work on manuscripts, writing grants applications, reviewing papers, etc. At night, I take about one-and-a-half hours to read newly published papers or books in the field, as well as some scientific papers with broad interests. I also spend some time doing exercise. I take weekends off, those are family time. My daughter is now in high school. She goes to boarding school and is only at home from Friday night to Sunday. We spend most of time talking to each other. She tells us what happened in the school, and we offer some suggestions if she asks. Her father and I cook the food she likes, and we try to make every day enjoyable. 6. What motivates you as a researcher? I would like to say it is interest and curiosity. There are so many un-answered questions which I find fascinating. I feel that to be a researcher is lucky as I have always been working on something interesting and novel. Also, being a researcher, I get chances to know so many great scientists and talented students. Professor Hu, thank you for your time!

Albion, The origin of COVID19 is very curious. I read and listened to a number of reports that the RNA sequence is a combination that this not something that could be generated from a natural source. If that is true, than there are only a few labs in the world that have the capability to manufacture a custom virus. China is one but the US and a handful of other countries are also capable. I hate to be the paranoid conspiracy theorist but the US and the world has a lot to gain by setting a virus like this loose upon the world and demand financial reparations from China. There was a simulation that was run in Wuhan in October of 2019 to prepare the world for this type of a viral episode and it is very hard for me to believe that all the most educated virologist in the world were Wuhan immediately prior to when this outbreak originated was coincidental. I know you don't like links : hub.jhu.edu/2019/11/06/event-201-health-security/The other thing I find suspicious with the COVID19 pandemic is the consistent early message from the media that China is bad. The message China did not act fast enough and did not warn the world. The Epoch Times has had sponsored ads on Facebook for months linked to spiffy videos on Youtube that have an army virologist who happens to be Chinese immigrant talking about COVID19. These videos seem to me to be CIA/NSA propaganda videos from a media organization they created. Call me paranoid but there seems to be a military and political feel to COVID19 and its impact on the world. The entire world is in debt to China and perhaps, the plan with COVID19 is to even out the balance sheet with reparation payments? Another bonus to powers in America would be for many old and ill people to die due to the virus. Having the numbers of Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid receipts decreased would be very helpful to the American Government who has been looting the Social Security Trust Fund my entire life. I'm sure that other western countries face the same baby boom aged population bubble that America is dealing with but I doubt other countries would be evil enough to release a targeted virus loose upon the world then blame China for it.

Oh, and the US government has initiated a marketing campaign to sell contract tracing as a positive thing which is just a huge government surveillance program. My mom has gotten a bunch of messages asking her to opt in voluntarily to contract tracing on her phone. I'm sure millions of Americans have accepted these requests.
The government probably already has been illegally tracking everyone with their phones for years but now they are trying to pass laws to make it legal.
The Corbett Report did a video on contract tracing which was interesting to listen to. It is up on Youtube.

Pessimistically, if you consider that countries are just systems of ideology, and that people are just workers, then this covid19 does seem to be targeting the least productive and or those with built up liability by the state. And if one were to think that this was released on purpose by China or the US, is the plan finished? Is there a mutation waiting in the wings? Or a combination of covid19 and flu which could drastically reduce a state's population? What would the effects of a 10 or 20 percent decrease in population have on the environment, global warming, or international relations?
But letting loose a pathogen which targets many of the ruling elites age ranges seems to be counter-intuitive. Even if Remdesivir works, it still might be hard to acquire before the pandemic runs full circle. In the short term, many countries who do not spend their money fighting the virus and saving lives might be tempted to invest in stocks and commodities which could drastically alter the balance of power . Consider that the Suadi's, Russia, and especially China control the markets in their countries, they could siphon off or just print money and then buy major stakes in their western world competitors. If someone had a SARS like virus, which had a limited death rate, like covid 19, and then target potential competing economies, once the initial panic drove down the investment prices, they could then scoop up the stocks which they desired. Back in January, China knew that hydroxychloriquine and Remdesivir were good therapeutic drugs. Knowing this might make the stock crash seem a like a golden opportunity.
Would it make sense for Russia and Saudi Arabia to have bought all the US oil and gas companies they could? Or for China to have bought all its manufacturing competitors or materials and commodity producers. Mining companies might have been a good buy. Or beef producers. Or even better, they could have bought smaller tech, biotech, or pharma, achieved a controlling interest, sold the patents to a Chinese company, and then had a jump start on all the new innovations. I have a belief that Chinese companies know that they have to answer to the Chinese Communist Party at any given moment. And if China did have a n investment firm large enough to control market price and capitalization, which I believe they have many, then they could use that to steer Western Business in their direction. Is this the age of the Communist and Authoritarian Robber Barons?

I have been watching videos on Youtube posted by The Epoch Times. The Epoch Times has been buying sponsored ads on Facebook and linking the ads to their Youtube videos.
Two days ago, I received a copy of The Epoch Times newspaper in the mail. It does not have any ads. The address is 2433 De La Cruz Blvd. Santa Clara, Ca 95050-2922
Newspapers have not been doing well financially for the past ten or fifteen years yet the Epoch Times seems to have a luxurious budget. I had never heard of The Epoch Times prior to January of this year.
I tend to believe The Epoch Times is a propaganda organization intended to make Americans hate China. The front page of the paper reads "How the Chinese Communist Party Endangered the World" They call COVID the Chinese Communist Party Virus or CCP virus for short.

Mr Wang seems quite adept at new world diplomacy. 1.4 billion people is a lot of people to coerce and re-educate.
"The foreign minister took a less conciliatory line on Hong Kong, days after Beijing unveiled plans to introduce new national-security laws in the Chinese territory.
Mr. Wang, speaking as police officers used tear gas to break up protests on the streets of Hong Kong on Sunday, called the new laws a natural response to rising unrest that he said was stirred up by "local radical separatists" with aid from meddling foreign forces.
As in other countries, he said, the central government was ultimately responsible for securing national security within its borders. Because Hong Kong is a part of China, he added, it was natural and appropriate for Beijing to introduce such laws.
"We must get it done without the slightest delay," Mr. Wang said, describing the national-security laws as a "pressing priority."
On the WHO, Mr. Wang defended the United Nations agency against criticism from the Trump administration and said the U.S. shouldn't seek to undermine it by withholding funding.
"The WHO does not serve any particular country and it should not defer to any country that provides more funding than others," Mr. Wang said. "Attempts to attack or blackmail the WHO...will be rejected by the global community."
Asked about Taiwan's exclusion from the WHO, Mr. Wang blamed the ruling government in Taipei for spurning a "1992 consensus" between Taipei and Beijing to regard both Taiwan and China as part of "one China," which he said made it impossible for the self-ruled island to participate in the WHO as a part of China.
"It's the Taiwan authorities who have turned a blind eye to their people's well-being, turning its back on the 1992 consensus," Mr. Wang said. "We firmly oppose official interactions with the Taiwan authorities disguised as health cooperation."
Mr. Wang also warned Washington against offering more support for President Tsai Ing-wen, days after she was sworn in for a second four-year term.
"We remind the U.S. side not to make any attempt to challenge China's red line or misjudge 1.4 billion people's strong resolve to defend national unification ," he said.

The Corbett Report is a channel on Youtube that you may be aware of. They have published a number of video recently about Bill Gates and his vaccine mission and involvement with the WHO. Gates is promoting identifying numbers for all people in the world tied to their health records. He has supported the Aadhaar bio metric identification program developed in India with grander plans to identify everyone on the earth.
The Gates family had deep eugenic roots.

@albion Great posts! I definitely think something is rotten in the state of Denmark with this whole thing! I think some really great reporting that really ties in your background with some of the more bizarre tie-ins with Epstein and Gates is coming from (IMO) the best investigative journalist working today, Whitney Webb. If you haven't already, take a look at her work she has some great series, but perhaps you'd like to start with her Engineering Contagion series, as it's germane to this thread: unlimitedhangout.com/engineering-contagion/I'm particularly intrighued/disturbed by this piece as well: unlimitedhangout.com/2020/07/investigative-reports/darpas-man-in-wuhan/
