This story has been cracking me up for two days. The person who told it has led an incredible life. Albeit on the wrong side of the law, but she has come out of it not too worse for wear. But...
She said her and her ex-oldman(this is Oklahoma), went down to Texas and picked up two ounces of pot. They put it in a watchbox, placed a magnet on the bottom of the box, and then wrapped it in electrical tape. They were small time dealers/users and this was no big deal. Except they ended up going the wrong way on a one way road. And a cop was right there. So she was scared. THey had attached the box with the magnet under the toolbox in the truck bed. Her oldman wasnt scared, but she was. And rightly so, because the cop found the stash. But the magnet had collected other things on it. Old nails, bolts, and even some old spark plugs. And this freaked out the cops. At first she and her oldman wouldnt tell them what it was. But the cops got more and more nervous. And began threatening them with terrorism. They thought it was a bomb. This finally scared him and he told them what was in it. But by this time the cops were scared, and called in a bomb robot. And it picked up said box and carried it down to a loading dock of a nearby store. And then they tried to explode the box. But her oldman had wrapped it tight and nothing happened. So they did again, this time with too much explosive, and the box disintegrated. The box and the pot. All gone. And she said there was a brief moment when everybody just sat there and stared at eachother. Because the box was not a bomb, and the pot was completely gone. And then the cops told them get into their truck, and go back to OK, and never come back.
She eventually learned her lesson. Her oldman is serving 15 years in federal.
