This is really intriguing to me. Some of the illustrations are very intricate and beautiful. The trouble I have with it is that every time I look at it I think of Monty Python's Flying Circus. Could Time Bandits have been real? www.voynich.nu/index.html

Could Time Bandits have been real? www.voynich.nu/index.htmlWhat a interesting document. I think the botanical illustrations are the most curios to me. It is like someone documented their studies but did it in code. I just always have to remember that the study of science or alchemy was a very dangerous undertaking in the early days of society. People who did so were at great risk due to the influence of the church. I can see where they would use code to prevent others from understanding their notes. Your thought on the Time Bandits really does fit in a way.
