I find it that is as just likely a tragic accident as it could have been murder, but I am posting for a few reasons. One is that it occurred there in AZ. Another is the odd account of Margaret spending so much time with the local sheriff's in Contra Costa County. Coincidentally she was from just outside San Antonio TX. One theory, is that if there were to be a known group of crooked LE who was complicit in criminal activities, then if you cant bring the crooked cops to the victim, then bring the victim to the crooked cops. At the very least they can control the investigation, and make sure it gets turned in the wrong directions. I am curious about the newspapers in both of those towns. The Modesto Bee was part of the McClatchy news org and the CC Times was owned by Lesher. His widow's death in AZ, was investigated by none other than Joe Arpaio. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dean_Lesher www.sfgate.com/magazine/article/TRUE-ROMANCE-3499314.phpwww.sfgate.com/news/article/Lesher-heiress-found-dead-3120506.phpen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Arpaio#Justification_for_ignoring_sex_crimes

I definitely would suspect the husband in this case but some crimes you just can't prove there was wrong doing no matter how hard you look. I do find it very out of character for a woman who had spent so of her life worrying about appearances would run around in her underwear even if she did not expect any strangers to be about. I don't believe a few glasses of champagne would cause her to throw decorum to the wind.

The case it reminded me of was the Natalie Wood drowning at Catalina Island. Maybe there was foul play, maybe there wasnt.
