There's a few more here that should have their own threads but sadly time prevents it www.imgrum.net/user/justice_for_children/312455297''Esther Lee Lewis (9) December 10, 1937 - March 11, 1947 Esther Lee Lewis left her home on the morning of Tuesday, March 11, 1947 to walk to her school bus stop. This was Esther's usual routine on school days and the bus stop was a mile away. Later that day, Esther had not returned home from school so her parents called the police. It was soon discovered that Esther had never made it to school or even to the school bus that day. A large search for her began and went on through the night. The next morning, Esther's mutilated body was found in a creek halfway between her house and her bus stop. She had been sexually assaulted and beaten to death with a rock. A few months later, a 17 year old escaped mental patient was charged with Esther's murder and another murder of a woman. He was sentenced to life in prison with parole. Esther was a fourth grade student who was smart and diligent about her work. She was a pretty little girl who was small for her age. Esther was taught from a young age to not talk to strangers or accept a ride from them and knew very well not to. Rip Esther... #EstherLeeLewis #EstherLewis ''
