Here is a picture of the newborn. And here are some pictures of the ice storm we had. Ice storms arent usual for us so it seems like everything just stops. I was out of power for a day or so. The electric company doesnt keep track of the trees growing around the wires, and then the ice storms hit, and the branches fall in to the wires, and it is a mess. It was crazy that at a bridge on the interstate near my house two different semi-trailers, on two different days fell off. Right over the side. And this was just two weeks or so ago. And now I am walking around outside in a tee shirt and sweat pants. I guess I am getting old because the weather is now a big topic of conversation.

Too cute. Do the new little ones get accepted by the older kids or do you have to keep the different ages separated for awhile?
The ice is beautiful but I'm sure it is treacherous to drive in. The power companies here have taken to the skies to trim and monitor the power lines. They use helicopters in the remote areas now. There are still issues when a whole tree falls unexpectedly but there are fewer problems. I actually think PG&E is more worried about fires starting in the summer than they are about small power outages during winter storms.
I'm glad you got a day to rest. You have been working so hard for so many months. FYI, you are not old until your only conversation is about your various physical maladies and the medications you take for them.

Looks like I caught a skunk in the picture, but what are the other lights?

Looks like I caught a skunk in the picture, but what are the other lights? Do you have lightning bugs? If yes, maybe one was flying in the image and the light trail blurred?

Looks like I caught a skunk in the picture, but what are the other lights? Do you have lightning bugs? If yes, maybe one was flying in the image and the light trail blurred? That is a better answer than any I can come up with. We do have lightning bugs. And this is the digital age.
